Sorry for the quality, it’s the best I managed to extract from my phone’s camera.
On the photo you can see the insides of a vacuum tube, which I found on the circuit boards of a really old TV set. These tubes were predecessors of our modern transistors. Hard to imagine what dimensions computers would have had if they had been working on the tubes.
