About half a year ago I wrote a post suggesting a way to wake up in about required time. The gist is to drink some water once the first alarm has woken you up. Today I’m writing this small note on another method I’ve used successfully for a while.
The key is to solve a mathematical problem, or a few, before you could snooze the alarm. On Android I can recommend Alarm Clock Xtreme app. In the alarm settings, set Snooze method
and Dismiss method
to Solve math problems
; Math difficulty level
to Hardest
(it’s not really that hard). In Advanced settings
, you can also set Max number snoozes
and Increase math
(quite useful).
There are two benefits I’ve gained from using this method:
Faster waking up.
Faster calculations of such math problems.
ps. I’ve recently seen an even more awesome snoozing idea. You need to scan a QR code, which can be located in your bathroom for example. If you want that, try Sleep as Android.
